Since putting pencil to paper, the owners, designers and contractors behind the Brass Works have made sustainability a core value. We worked with our architects and engineers to design a building with all the right details: recycled materials, low VOC paint, high-tech mechanicals, an advanced air-sealing package and plenty of natural light and ventilation. Brass Works is Green Built Home ® certified, a rigorous third-party green building certification program sponsored by the Wisconsin Environmental Initiative.

Breath a little easier: we’re SMOKE FREE. We believe a healthy lifestyle starts with a healthy home environment. We don’t allow smoking in any apartments, common areas or outdoor spaces. Smoking isn’t permitted within 25 feet of any building entrance. Maybe we’re making it a little tougher to stay a smoker. Maybe we think you’re worth it!


We love pets! At Brass Works, you can keep up to two (2) pets in your apartment… (and we won’t even count the fish!). But as it goes, we want to avoid any issues with pets and most importantly, we want everyone to enjoy their home.

The following pet policy will be enforced for everyone’s safety and quality of life:

Two pet max per apartment
One dog only, up to 35 pound maximum
High risk breeds strictly prohibited (ask for a list)
All pets must be on a leash at all times
